Highest Steel Beam to be Laid As Project Speeds Toward Completion PITTSBURGH: TODAY, Thursday, October 23, 2008, the Pittsburgh Casino will celebrate the “topping off” of their structure when the highest and final steel beam is laid. The casino, which is on track for an August 2009 opening, currently has over 350 workers on site. Ed Fasulo, the General Manager of the casino, will celebrate the milestone with representatives of Keating Construction, the developer of the project at the 11:30 AM event.
