RIVERS CASINO ENDS 2009 AND BEGINS 2010 WITH GIVING

Patrons and Employees Support Local Charities with Significant Donations

PITTSBURGH—January 8, 2010—To celebrate the season of giving Rivers Casino wrapped up 2009 by supporting several charitable organizations including the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Toys for Tots, Light of Life Rescue Mission and Southside Rotary. The casino is continuing its philanthropic efforts in 2010 with a blood drive next week hosted by FSN Pittsburgh that will benefit the Central Blood Bank.

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (GPCFB)
Over a six-week period, Rivers Casino donated 34,248 pounds of food to GPCFB. In addition to the collected food, employees were given the option to donate their turkey, given to each employee by Rivers Casino at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Between the two holidays, 75 turkeys were donated to GPCFB.

Light of Life and Rotary
Casino employees continued to give back by donating an additional 36 turkeys to the Light of Life Rescue Mission and 24 turkeys to the Southside Rotary in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Zone 3 Police Department and Folino’s Restaurant for the “Get Stuffed with Love – Feed the Hungry” event.

Toys for Tots
Rivers Casino guests were encouraged to support the Toys for Tots program with a free slot play incentive with the donation of a toy. Over the course of three weeks 2,197 toys were collected from guests and employees. More than $32,000 in free slot play was awarded to guests who participated in the Toys for Tots collection effort.
