Irwin Woman Wins $5,000 Playing Champion Tic-Tac-Toe Chicken PITTSBURGH—June 14, 2010—Rivers Casino recently awarded Michelle Lyman of Irwin, Pa. $5,000 when she beat Ginger the chicken in a game of tic-tac-toe. Lyman's grand prize was a result of the casino's "Challenge the Bird" promotion for guests who enroll as new members in the Rivers Edge Players Club. Lyman selected a lucky egg which gave her a chance to play tic-tac-toe against Ginger. Thousands of guests have already challenged Ginger and nearly $70,000 in free slot play and cash prizes have been awarded to "clucky" guests at Rivers Casino. The game is an electronic version of tic-tac-toe between Rivers Casino guests and Ginger, a live chicken. The object of the game is still the same: the first player to get three marks in a row wins. The difference in this game is that Ginger makes a move by pecking at spaces that correspond with a tic-tac-toe grid. The human challengers use a touch screen to make their selection. "We are always dreaming up fun, new promotions and opportunities for our Rivers Edge Players Club members," said Todd Moyer, general manager of Rivers Casino. "It's exciting for us to see a new member take home the grand prize. Congratulations to Michelle and to all of the winners!" Guests who enroll as new members in the Rivers Edge Players Club will receive $20 in free slot play and pick an "egg" for an opportunity to play against the chicken. New members who receive the chance to play can win up to $5,000 cash. Everyone who faces Ginger in a match receives an "I Challenged the Bird" t-shirt. "If you haven't already challenged Ginger, there's still time for you to try and out pick the chick," said Moyer. "We invite everyone to come down to Rivers Casino and see Ginger in action." ### ABOUT RIVERS CASINO
